BIOGRAPHY:

Vicryl 2.0 was taken from a suture’s name when Ming Dejaresco(vocals) was on duty in the operating room where she assisted an operation where this suture was used and decided to have it as a bandname. From the walks of life, she met Marc Berame who then became the band’s bassist, Isser Libres the lead guitarist, Gwen on rhythm and Rhan on drums. On October 20, 2006 Vicryl 2.0 was born and started playing heavy music in the underground music scene in Cebu. Due to certain circumstances, Vicryl 2.0 was disbanded for sometime. Ming Dejaresco searched again for new band members, King Cyril Fernandez and Ryan Oneal Deiparine on guitars, King Villanueva on bass, and Tawing De Rama on drums, which gave the band the strength to persuade in giving metal hymns to the cebu metal underground scene.
